They wanted
The nine Local Authorities in the Thames Valley area lead a project called Log on to Care to deliver good quality “blended learning” programmes for social care workers. After a long time providing a combination of classroom, train-the-trainer, training documents and static webpages, Log on to Care wanted to broaden their reach to a wider audience. We thought Having worked with Log on to Care for many years we have developed a good understanding of the care sector including what will and won't work online. We helped them discover the natural next step for the project which was to centralise all of the learning material online and make it trackable. The board then agreed to recuit an LMS provider. We delivered After a successful tender process, we took the approach of providing a simple, intuitive LMS, at a very reasonable price point backed by simple and rapid support and development of specific e-Learning materials. This was implemented in record time (3 weeks) and has now rolled out 20 courses with 60 modules to over 800 learners. The main competencies the board used to make the decision to work with us were: innovation, how much we really understood the brief, and budget. To read more about the project click here |
